MILICA ZIDARIĆ was born in 1991 in Šabac. She finished elementary and secondary music school "Mihailo Vukdragović" in Šabac. She completed basic, master, two specialist and doctoral academic studies in piano at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in the class of regular professor Branko Penčić. The title of her PhD art project is Creating an Artistic Interpretation of 24 Preludes by Sergei Rachmaninoff. She completed her artistic degree at the Academy of Music in Zagreb in the class of professor Ruben Dalibaltayan.
She gained the Artist Diploma for program at the Talent Music Masters Courses Music Academy in Brescia in the class of Professor Ruben Dalibaltayan during 2019/20th and 2020/22th year.During her musical education, she has won numerous awards at national and international competitions, the most significant of which are:
International Competition of Young Pianists in Šabac (first prizes from 2004 to 2009), Competition "Orpheus" in Trg-Ziu in Romania (winner of the category in 2006),
International Competition "Davorin Jenko" - piano duo Milica and Jelena Zidarić (2017th, laureates).She held several concerts in the Gallery of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Belgrade (in 2007, 2008, 2012 and 2016, in which Jelena Zidarić participated, and solo concerts in 2011, 2013, 2017, 2018 and 2021).
She performed at the National Library of Serbia (in 2017), the Gvarnerius Institution - the Jovan Kolundžija Fine Arts Center (in 2018th and 2020th), as well as the Ilija M. Foundation Music Gallery of Kolarac Endowment (2021th).
She enriched her concert activity with performances in the piano ensemble with her sister, Jelena Zidarić. It is worth mentioning the participation in the concert of the laureates of the 14th international competition "Davorin Jenko" in Belgrade, held in the SANU Gallery in 2017th, as well as the evening of chamber music by Russian composers in the great hall of the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, where they performed Rachmaninov's Suite no. 1, op. 5 for two pianos.She attended the masterclasses of Svetlana Bogino, Vladimir Ogarkov, Natalia Trull (Russia), etc.
She received a scholarship from the Fund for Young Talents of the Republic of Serbia for the academic year 2012/2013th, which is awarded to the best students in their final years of academic studies.She has been employed as a piano accompanist at the "Mihailo Vukdragović" Music School in Šabac since September 2013.Milica is also a member of the Association of Music Artists of Serbia since July 2022.
